Star winger looking to push on after comeback against Cameroon

Holland star Arjen Robben was delighted to make his comeback against Cameroon on Thursday and is now looking to push on. The Bayern Munich ace was a major doubt for the World Cup after injuring his hamstring in the final warm-up match against Hungary. But after working hard to get himself fit, Robben was able to play for 20 minutes in the Oranje's final Group E clash against the Indomitable Lions. He showed he had lost none of his attacking threat by hitting the post in the 83rd minute, allowing Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to bury the rebound for the winner.

Very special

Robben is delighted to be part of Holland's World Cup finals push, telling fifa.com: "I'm very, very happy. I think you know how hard I worked for this, so to be out there was very special for me. "It was a great experience and a big pleasure to be part of the World Cup. I felt fully recovered and ready to play in this match and, out there on the pitch, the hamstring felt fine. "So I'm ready to play my part going forward." While Robben was disappointed his shot did not go in, he was pleased to have provided the assist for the winning goal.
Pity
"It's a pity my shot didn't go in," he said. "But, honestly, I was happy to have played a big role in us scoring the winner. It was a nice feeling to play my part after missing the first two games." The Netherlands finished top of their group with three wins out of three and next face Slovakia on Monday for a place in the quarter-finals. "We made it clear at the start that we would be taking this tournament one challenge at a time, and now we will focus on Slovakia and Slovakia alone," added Robben. "I'm already looking forward to it."
