Defender available on a free transfer
Former Bolton defender Julio Cesar is hoping to win a move back to England,
skysports.com understands.
The Brazilian is available on a free transfer after leaving Turkish side Gaziantepspor earlier this summer.
Cesar, who had a one-year spell at Bolton in the 2004-05 season, is eager to try his luck again in England after injury blighted his time at the Reebok Stadium.
The 31-year-old is thought to be ready to snub offers from his native Brazil in a bid to win a move to England and the player's agent, Mickey Walsh, says the central defender is prepared to link up with a club for training to try and secure a move.
"Julio is available on a free transfer and he would like to return to England," Walsh told
skysports.com.
"He was unlucky with injuries during his time in Bolton and he wants to have another crack at English football.
"He is willing to come over and train with a club so that he can prove his worth.
"He has offers from teams in Brazil, but he would like to join a club in England."
