Sky Sports understands a number of English clubs are tracking Serbian striker Nemanja Nikolic.
The 24-year-old has caught the eye at Hungarian side Videoton helping them win the championship in 2011.
Nikolic has netted 36 goals in 70 appearances for Videton, who are managed by former Swansea and Queens Park Rangers boss Paulo Sousa.
The highly-rated forward has been watched by several Premier League and Championship clubs as they weigh up moves for Nikolic before the close of the transfer window.
Swansea are thought to be keen on Nikolic with Michael Laudrup in the market for a new striker to bolster his attacking options at the Liberty Stadium.
