Italians set sights on Gunners forward after missing out on Berbatov
Sky Sports understands Juventus are turning their attentions to Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner after missing out on Dimitar Berbatov.
Juventus were hopeful of landing Manchester United forward Berbatov ahead of Serie A rivals Fiorentina, but the Bulgarian pulled out of the move at the last minute amid reports of interest from Fulham.
Italian champions Juventus have been frustrated in their attempts to bring in a new striker this summer after seeing moves for Robin van Persie, Berbatov and Fernando Llorente fall through.
Bendtner has now emerged as a target with the Denmark international poised to leave the Gunners before the transfer window closes on Friday.
Arsenal are willing to sell Bendtner as he is well down the pecking order in Arsene Wenger's plans at the Emirates.
A number of clubs have been linked with the striker and it is believed the 24-year-old is keen on a move to Italy.
Juventus are hoping the lure of regular first-team action and UEFA Champions League football will persuade Bendtner to make the move to Turin.
