Forward signs on one-month loan
Port Vale have signed striker Craig Davies on loan from Brighton for one month.
The 24-year-old former Stockport, Oldham, Oxford and Verona forward put pen to paper on Friday and he goes straight into the Vale squad for the League Two game against Rochdale on Saturday.
Davies has been capped five times by Wales and Vale manager Micky Adams was pleased to secure his signature.
"Craig has height and pace and will certainly provide another attacking option for us, as well as competition for places in the attacking third," he told the club's
official website.
"He is a player who I have worked with before and I believe he has all of the attributes to be successful at this level."
Davies spent a spell on loan at League One Yeovil earlier in the season, but failed to make an impact and only played four times for the Glovers.
He will now be available for the games against Rochdale, Burton Albion (2), Macclesfield, Hereford, Chesterfield and Torquay.
