Left-back signs deal for one-year stay at Vale Park
Port Vale's Kris Taylor is the latest player to have signed a new deal with the club.
The left-back will stay on for another year and is one of seven players to have agreed new deals with the club as boss Micky Adams plans a promotion push.
Others include Marc Richards, the Valiants' top goalscorer for the past two years, who has signed a new two-year deal this week despite interest from other clubs.
Midfielders Anthony Griffith and Lewis Haldane have also agreed new deals, as has defender John McCombe, striker Louis Dodds and teenage goalkeeper Chris Martin.
Adams told the club's
official website: "I am delighted that all the players who had been offered terms have either agreed or signed their contracts.
"Next season will require a lot of hard work but I am pleased that members of our squad have opted to stay at Vale Park rather than signing for other clubs."
