Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun has joined Arsenal on loan until the end of the season.
The Israel captain had been linked with a number of clubs but opted for the Gunners, who will play in this season's UEFA Champions League.
The 31-year-old joined the Blues from Liverpool last summer but only made 11 appearances after he ruptured his Achilles on international duty last October and missed six months of the campaign.
The midfielder, who is currently on international duty, has also confirmed the move.
He wrote on
Twitter: "I sign with Arsenal, very happy and excited about it, but now my head is only in the game against Greece on Friday, thanks for the support."
