Wigan midfielder could head to Championship in January
Wigan midfielder Cho Won-hee has set his sights on a loan deal in the January transfer window.
The South Korea international was signed by former boss Steve Bruce in March but has rarely featured for the Latics this season, making only three substitute appearances.
He is keen to play more regularly ahead of next summer's World Cup and would be willing to join a Championship club on a temporary basis.
"Cho and (manager Roberto) Martinez have agreed that it would be best if he leaves to join another team on a loan deal," Cho's agency Tenplus Sports told the Korean media.
"Martinez wants Cho to improve his form and fitness before he could consider giving him more playing time, while Cho is keen to get on the pitch on a more regular basis.
"We are looking for a club for him to join, and we believe a team in the English Championship would suit him best."
