Morecambe vs Carlisle preview
Monday 31 December 2018 13:07, UK
Morecambe are waiting on midfielder Aaron Wildig ahead of their Sky Bet League Two clash with Carlisle on New Year's Day.
Wildig missed Saturday's draw at Colchester after suffering a knee injury against Tranmere on Boxing Day. Midfielder Andrew Tutte and forward Vadaine Oliver are also likely to be assessed after missing out at the weekend through injury.
Defender Luke Conlan is back in contention after playing 90 minutes on his return from an Achilles injury on Saturday but Andy Fleming, James Sinclair, Lamin Jagne and Barry Roche are still sidelined.
Carlisle will be without their on-loan Morecambe forward Adam Campbell, who is ineligible for the clash against his parent club. That means Campbell, a substitute against Macclesfield on Saturday, may have made his final appearance for the club as his loan ends on January 2.
Similarly, in-form striker Jerry Yates, who has scored six goals in his last seven outings, could also be representing Carlisle for the last time as his loan from Rotherham expires after the game. Midfielder Mike Jones may return after a sickness bug but Jason Kennedy (pelvis) is still a few weeks away from returning.
