French striker forms part of Del Neri's plans

David Trezeguet looks set to remain with Juventus after being beckoned to their pre-season training camp. The French striker will form part of the squad that is due to start their 2010/11 preparations on 3rd July. New Juve boss Luigi Del Neri is prepared to wipe the slate clean and has made it clear that he will give Trezeguet every opportunity to prove his worth. It had been widely expected that the experienced frontman would be on his way out of the club this summer, having slipped down the pecking order in Turin. A host of clubs from Italy and across Europe were reported to have expressed an interest in his services and it was assumed that it would be only a matter of time before he moved on. However, a peace pact has been put in place and Trezeguet is prepared to stick with his current employers. "I have been called up for the summer camp from 3rd July," he told L'Equipe. It now appears as though the 32-year-old will be given every opportunity to prolong his 10-year association with the Bianconeri.
