Skysports.com understands Khaleem Hyland has landed a new one-year deal with Zulte Waregem.
But Juve could still land T&T midfielder
Skysports.com understands Trinidad & Tobago midfielder Khaleem Hyland has landed a lucrative new one-year deal with Zulte Waregem.
Hyland, who came close to moving to England with Portsmouth a couple of years ago, has impressed during his time at the Belgian club.
The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to Italy for the last few weeks, with Juventus believed to have expressed an interest in his services.
And while he has committed his immediate future to Zulte, there is still a chance that a switch to Serie A could still materialise.
Should Juve continue their pursuit of Hyland then he could be sold before being loaned back to his current club for one season.
Hyland's agent, Steve Davies, told
skysports.com: "We're delighted with the deal.
"I believe talks are ongoing with interested clubs and any interested parties should contact Zulte Waregem."
