Midfielder happy to stay at Hamburg

Hamburg's Dennis Aogo has played down speculation linking him with a move to Juventus. The versatile 23-year-old, who can play in defence as well as midfield, has reportedly attracted interest after an impressive season in 2009/10. Juve were thought to be keen on striking a deal but Aogo insists he is happy at Hamburg and has no desire to leave. "I have explained often enough that I am wanting to remain a player of Hamburg," he told Sportinformationsdienst. "Nothing has changed on this and I have no clue why I should not be able to agree a new deal with the club. "Hamburg is the best solution for me. It is a true cosmopolitan city, the club has splendid supporters and the conditions at Hamburg are rare to find elsewhere, which I appreciate."

Ridiculous

Manager Armin Veh also rejected the transfer talk regarding Juve, calling the reports 'ridiculous'. "I think Juventus have signed about 180 players from the Bundesliga according to reports," he said. "They are after one more each single week, this is downright ridiculous!"
