Juventus have confirmed that Arsenal full-back Armand Traore has joined them on a season-long loan.

French full-back joins Turin giants

Juventus have confirmed that Arsenal full-back Armand Traore has joined them on a season-long loan. The Frenchman was reported to be on the verge of sealing a switch to the Serie A giants, and that deal has now been completed. The 20-year-old was in Turin on Tuesday to undergo a medical and put the finishing touches to the move. Having passed his physical examination without a hitch, he has now linked up with Juve for the remainder of the 2010/11 campaign. He will be hoping to find regular first-team football in Italy, having struggled to force his way into the fold at Arsenal.

Opportunity

Injuries have hindered his progress of late, and he spent the 2008/09 campaign on loan at Portsmouth, but he will still be disappointed at his lack of action with the Gunners. A switch to Juve will now give him the opportunity to get his career back on track and prove his worth to both Luigi Del Neri and Arsene Wenger. Meanwhile, Juve have also swooped for Napoli centre-half Leandro Rinaudo. Having missed out on AC Milan's Kaka Kaladze, the Bianconeri wasted no time in turning their attention elsewhere. Rinaudo will move to Turin on loan for the remainder of the season, with Juve then having the option to buy him for €6million (£4.9m).
