Old Lady legend not ready to hang up boots
Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero insists he has no plans to hang up his boots anytime soon.
It had been thought the 36-year-old striker, who has helped The Old Lady win five Serie A titles, could retire this summer as he is yet to sign a contract extension.
Del Piero has won 91 caps for Italy, scoring 27 goals in the process, but insists he is ready to continue playing for the foreseeable future.
The veteran knows when the time will be right to call time on his illustrious career, although that time has yet to come and he is only focused on playing.
Playing on
"I want to play for a long time and give my best," Del Piero said.
"Then I will consider the right time to stop playing. I'm just thinking about the present.
"My thoughts right now are on playing and we will see what happens in the future."
