Striker Peter Odemwingie is unfazed by speculation surrounding his future at West Brom.

Interest from Juve and Newcastle not on Baggies striker's agenda

Peter Odemwingie is unfazed by speculation surrounding his future and is focused on ensuring West Brom's Premier League survival. The Nigeria international has attracted interest after netting 12 league goals for the Baggies, the latest of which came in the 3-1 defeat against Chelsea at the weekend. Odemwingie, 29, has exceeded expectation in his debut season in English football and is reportedly on the radar of Newcastle and Serie A giants Juventus. However, the striker has rebuffed such claims, insisting he is interested only in steering West Brom, who are six points above the drop zone, towards safety. "My focus is to save West Brom," Odemwingie said. "I scored at the weekend but we lost - that is not good. The most important thing is to beat relegation and nothing else." Odemwingie was signed by former Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo last August for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £2million, from Lokomotiv Moscow.
