Late Pandev strike seals Coppa Italia progress
Goran Pandev struck with just four minutes remaining to seal a battling 2-1 victory for Napoli against Cesena in the last 16 of the Coppa Italia.
Cesena, who in contrast to Napoli have struggled for their best form this season, stunned the Stadio San Paolo when Stefan Popescu fired them in front after 20 minutes.
Napoli were frustrated in their efforts to get back into the game but eventually found an equaliser midway through the second half thanks to star frontman Edinson Cavani.
The match appeared to be drifting towards extra time before substitute Pandev's 86th-minute intervention secured his side's place in the quarter-finals, where they will face Inter Milan or Genoa.
