Keeper staying at Wildpark Stadion
Karlsruhe keeper Markus Miller has committed his immediate future to the Bundesliga outfit.
The 26-year-old custodian was able to reach an agreement with the club's management team and has penned a new one-year deal.
The news comes as a welcome boost to the German side as Miller has been the subject of much transfer speculation in the past.
The experienced keeper arrived at the Wildpark Stadion from FC Augsberg in 2003 and has made a total of 129 league appearances for the club.
He began his career at Stuttgart, where he was forced to fulfil back-up duties, before getting his career on track with a move to Augsberg in 2002.
He is widely regarded as one of the finest shot-stoppers in Germany, drawing regular comparisons with Bayern Munich legend Oliver Kahn.
