The draw for the FA Cup first round has thrown up a number of interesting ties.

Havant to face Brentford, Harlow test for Macclesfield

The draw for the FA Cup first round has thrown up a number of interesting ties. Last season's FA Cup miracle workers Havant & Waterlooville who beat a number of league opposition on their way to a third round tie against Liverpool at Anfield face League Two's Brentford at home. Two teams confident of causing an upset could be Blue Square North side Blyth Spartans who host League Two side Shrewsbury Town and Ryman Premier League side Harlow Town who welcome League Two strugglers Macclesfield Town. Team Bath have reached the first round for the third time in their history and face either Forest Green or Ryman League One side Ashford Town. Either Lewes FC or Leiston FC - who are the lowest ranked side in the competition - will also travel to Blue Square Premier side Fleetwood Town. AFC Wimbledon missed out on the chance to play arch rivals MK Dons instead drawing League Two's Wycombe Wanderers at home. Horsham FC of the Isthmian League and Stevenage of the Conference will battle it out in a replay to win the chance to cause a huge upset at the Walkers Stadium against League One's Leicester City.
