Argentina striker glad he made the move from United to City

Carlos Tevez believes he has now found the right club after leaving Manchester United for Manchester City last summer. The Argentina striker received a warm welcome from the Blues and after a slow start at Eastlands he is enjoying his best run of form since arriving in England in 2006. His double in the Carling Cup semi-final first leg against United last week took his recent tally to 13 goals in 11 games and also stoked up the rivalry between City and his former club. The 25-year-old had a successful two-year loan spell at Old Trafford but United stalled over stumping up the £25million for a permanent transfer last summer. City stepped in to land the former Boca Juniors and West Ham man on a five-year deal and Tevez feels more at home having made the move across the Manchester divide. "The welcome I received from the moment I arrived at City has been very special," he told the Daily Mirror."I was made to feel loved and this means a lot to any footballer.

Honour

"I feel I've shown I'm at the right club now. Everyone knows how important the fans are at this club and, if I make them happy, it's an honour. "I think the United fans know I tried hard. "City is my club now, a place where I feel part of everything. "Maybe this wasn't always the way at United." After scoring his first goal last week, Tevez gestured to Gary Neville after the United captain said he 'wasn't worth the £25m'. Tevez was rested for Sunday's FA Cup win at Scunthorpe but is set to return for Wednesday's second leg at Old Trafford, into which City carry a 2-1 lead.
