Former Tottenham and Newcastle wing wizard David Ginola dishes the dirt on his former colleagues.
Each week Soccer AM asks players and former pros to dish the dirt on their team-mates. This week it's the turn of former Tottenham and Newcastle wing wizard David Ginola to tell us what his former pals were like behind the scenes... BEST NICKNAMEDarren Anderton was Dazza... but they all come with Dazza, Gazza or Wazza! (laughs). It's always things like that! HARDMAN
Steffen Freund! 'Arbeit!' (German for 'work') He always used to say that to me 'David arbeit!' 'OK Steffen, OK... calm down, everything is going to be OK'! (laughs). SLOWEST
That's difficult to say because we worked on speed on a daily basis for 20 years... so we're all quite fast! The difference is probably only half a second. BEST INITIATION
When I came from Paris and signed for Newcastle the first thing I had was 'Wae'aye man!' (laughs). I said sorry my English is not that good I don't understand, 'Wae'aye man!'. 'OK perfect... this is going to be an interesting season!' MOST INTELLIGENT
It's difficult to say because I played with probably 30 players at Spurs, 30 at Newcastle, 30 at Villa... so that's 90 people already and we've forgotten some on the way so sorry lads, you're all very clever. WORST DRESS SENSE
Peter Beardsley was probably not the best dressed man, but it wasn't his fault. He just wasn't interested in dressing in shoes, or shirts or ties. BEST DANCER
Jose Dominguez. He didn't play much so he had loads of time to rehearse! (laughs) WORST DANCER
Probably me. There's only one move I can do. AND WHO'S THE LONGEST IN THE SHOWER
Top of the list...David Ginola! By far!
