On Soccer AM...

Image: Harrison: gold medallist

Olympic gold medallist Audley Harrison, Keith Gillespie and Jack Whitehall are all on this week's Soccer AM!

Soccer AM always packs a punch but this week we're aiming to deliver a knock-out blow! Joining Helen and Max on the orange sofas first this week will be a real heavyweight... literally! That's right, Audley Harrison will in the studio ahead of his world heavyweight bout with David Haye live on Sky Box Office HD on November 13th. Boxing fans will be aware that there is very little love lost between the former pals and after six months of calling Haye out, Harrison got his wish this week. The 2000 Olympic gold medallist heated things up at the press conference on Thursday when he predicted a big shock for British public come fight night, while Haye has openly admitted he feels nothing but disdain for his opponent. It would be foolish of us to predict what will happen when they come face to face in November.... but expect fireworks! For now though you'll just have to sit back and enjoy listening to the 38-year-old explain to us exactly why he's so confident of walking away with Haye's WBA world heavyweight belt!

Winger

Our guest from the world of football this week is Keith Gillespie! The former Manchester United, Newcastle and Blackburn star made his name as a talented winger with pace to burn at Old Trafford during the mid-90s. A member of United's FA Youth Cup winning side in 1992, Gillespie broke into Sir Alex Ferguson's first team along side the likes of Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and David Beckham. Competing for a regular first team berth with Andrei Kanchelskis, the former Northern Ireland international found his first team opportunities limited however, and in 1995 he joined Newcastle in a deal which saw Andy Cole move in the opposite direction. Successful spells at Blackburn, Leicester and Sheffield United followed, but like so many professionals who feel they still have much to give to the sport he currently finds himself without a club. The 35-year-old was last seen plying his trade at Glentoran in the Irish League and he will be telling Helen and Max how his search for a new club is going.
Funnyman
Completing this week's line-up will be funnyman Jack Whitehall! At 22 he is still a relative newcomer on the stand-up circuit, but already has a wealth of experience behind him, both on stage and in front of the camera. His impressive CV includes two stints presenting Big Brother's Big Mouth, while last year he was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. His latest show, 'Learning Difficulties', begins this week at the Soho Theatre in London where he will be a resident until September 25th. As well as having a knack for making people laugh so hard that they can't help but make ridiculous snorting noises, Whitehall is a huge Arsenal fan and he will be giving us his view on the Gunners' season so far. That wraps up a heavyweight line-up of guests but as ever we've got lots of other treats for you including, Pat McGroin with the news, Little and Large, DJ David Ghetto intro-ing our Wolves fans, Ant and Dec, Unbelievable Tekkers, Skill Skool with Charlton, and we quiz Ryan Giggs in our brand new feature Club Quiz! Plus, we'll also see what happened when Tubes met Hollywood superstar John C Reilly, Andy Burton joins us live from Goodison Park ahead of Everton's lunchtime clash with Man Utd and Kammy takes on Ricky Hatton in Kammy Do It!? So tune in to Soccer AM, Saturday, 10am, Sky Sports 2 & Sky One
