Co-hosts cut party down to 23
Poland coach Franciszek Smuda has named his 23-man squad for Euro 2012, with no surprises in the co-hosts' line-up.
Striker Michal Kucharczyk, midfielder Tomasz Jodlowiec and defender Kamil Gilk were the casualties from Smuda's provisional group of 26.
The coach said of the trio: "I would like to thank them because they gave it their best, they worked at full capacity and I hope they stay in contention for squads in the future."
First-choice goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is included but Arsenal team-mate and second choice shot-stopper Lukasz Fabianski has been ruled out after the keeper suffered a shoulder injury at Poland's training camp in Austria.
Smuda added: "I was never so frightened as during yesterday's game (a 1-0 win over Slovakia). I never felt like that before in my life.
"I was just thinking please make sure nobody gets injured."
Smuda's side will complete their preparations for the Euros with a friendly against Andorra on June 2nd.
Poland, who will co-host the tournament with Ukraine, face Greece in their opening Group A match, with Czech Republic and Russia also in the pool.
The coach said: "All four (in the group) have chance, but Russia is the favourite. The first match against Greece will set the pace."
