Slovenian pleased with Eastbourne deal
Matej Zagar has revealed his delight at returning to the Elite League next season.
The Slovenian star impressed after joining Swindon Robins midway through last season, helping them to the Grand Final.
Swindon could not fit Zagar into their 2010 line-up, but he was quickly snapped up by Eastbourne Eagles and he will line-up as number one at Arlington.
"I had a really good year and I enjoyed it and that showed up on track," he told the Speedway Star.
"If everything goes okay and people treat you like they say and they don't change their minds and so silly things, they get things back in return.
"I got a good feeling back for England last year, and that's when I made the decision to come back and ride a full season.
"Now I am number one at Eastbourne, I rode at number five before - but I have ridden at one before and you get used to it."
