Rovers desperate for win
Tranmere are in desperate need of three points as they host Exeter City on Saturday.
Rovers are three points adrift of safety, whilst The Grecians are just five points better off.
Tranmere go into the game sweating over the fitness of defender Chris McCready. The defender lasted 58 minutes of Tuesday's 3-0 home defeat by Wycombe and is now doubtful with a hamstring problem.
Craig Curran should retain his place in the side after shaking off the groin injury he picked up against Walsall to play 64 minutes in midweek while on loan Leeds midfielder Andy Robinson could return following a similar problem.
But striker Terry Gornell is again unavailable for selection as he completes his three-match ban.
Defender Shaleum Logan is still recovering from a hernia problem but may return before the end of the season.
Exeter news
Exeter boss Paul Tisdale may recall experienced striker Marcus Stewart for the trip to relegation rivals Tranmere Rovers.
Stewart was introduced as a 64th-minute replacement for recalled Barry Corr in Monday's 1-1 draw at Swindon.
Corr and on-loan Rotherham striker Ryan Taylor, who made his full debut for the Grecians, were chosen to start at Swindon as Tisdale rotated his strikers with Stewart and Stuart Fleetwood making way.
Taylor could keep his place after an impressive first start but former Ipswich, Sunderland and Yeovil striker Stewart's experience could be invaluable as City face another six-pointer.
Richard Logan - who has recovered from a recent hamstring injury - replaced Taylor in the 88th minute but will have to settle for a place on the bench.
City wait on the fitness of veteran utility player Rob Edwards, ruled out of the last three games by a hamstring injury as they aim to extend their unbeaten to 10 games.
