Poole in Shakers squad, Shots bring in Morgan
Bury have signed midfield starlet James Poole ahead of the visit of play-off rivals Aldershot.
Poole has been a regular goalscorer for Manchester City's reserve side and goes straight into the Shakers' squad after agreeing a loan deal until the end of the season.
Alan Knill's men have seen their promotion bid stall having won one in eight, scoring just two in the process - both from the penalty spot - and losing their last two.
And the sixth-placed Shakers are still without top scorer Ryan Lowe as he serves the second game of his three-match suspension.
Efe Sodje is sidelined for two weeks with a leg injury but fellow defender Paul Scott (knee) is in contention after returning to full training late last week.
Striker Danny Carlton is still recovering from a long-term Achilles injury and midfielder Damien Allen remains sidelined with a groin problem.
Aldershot news
Victory at Gigg Lane will take Aldershot within a point of Bury and manager Kevin Dillon will include new signing Dean Morgan in his squad.
Morgan, who can operate as a winger or a striker, joined the Shots on loan from MK Dons on Thursday and comes straight into contention.
Dillon could also be boosted by the return of defensive duo Dave Winfield and Andy Sandell (both hamstring).
Centre-half Winfield has sat out the last four games while left-back Sandell has missed three, but both are back in contention as the Shots look for a third straight win.
Former Reading midfielder John Halls is unlikely to feature again this season after complications hampered his recovery from groin surgery.
