Luke Guttridge has sealed a switch to Aldershot to help fire their League Two promotion push.
The former Northampton midfielder was released by the Cobblers at the end of last season and has joined Kevin Dillon's side on a two-year deal.
The 28-year-old will offer valuable experience in the centre of the park as the Shots seek to bounce back from the heartbreak of their play-off semi-final defeat to Rotherham last term.
The Barnstaple-born midfielder has made more than 300 senior appearances in a career that includes spells with Cambridge, Southend and Colchester.
