Striker out to impress after clinching loan move

Davide Succi is determined to make an impact for Bologna after moving on loan from Palermo. The striker linked up with his hometown club prior to the transfer deadline and made his debut from the bench in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Chievo. He will stay with Bologna until the end of the season and could then secure a permanent switch in the summer. Succi hopes to show his best form after a quiet spell with Palermo, telling TMW: "I come to Bologna with the will to play, as this is my second year in the league. "To be able to do it in my home city, for the team I supported as a child is an added advantage. "I don't know what happened with Palermo, but the blame rests with me. "I must not have deserved to feature as much this season as I did last term, when I played more than 20 matches." Bologna were busy in the transfer window, having also signed Savio on loan from Fiorentina and Francesco Modesto from Genoa. Franco Colomba's men are unbeaten in their past four matches and are now four points clear of the relegation zone.
