Hildebrand's deal will not be extended
Hoffenheim have confirmed that goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand will not be retained for next season.
The 31-year-old joined from Valencia in January last year, but has failed to win extended terms.
His contract is due to expire in the summer and Hoffenheim has confirmed they will let that deal run down.
Hildebrand would win a one-year extension if he made his 41st Bundesliga appearance, but he is stuck on 39 outings.
"Goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand will no longer play for Hoffenheim in the coming season," read a statement on the club's
official website.
Hildebrand is already being linked with a move to former club Stuttgart, a side for which he made over 200 appearances for until 2007.
