The scout reports...

The Sky Sports Scout checks on Sweden's hottest new prospect Emir Bajrami. Bajrami this summer became the second most expensive Swede in history when Twente signed him from Elfsborg, paying more than £3million for his signature. The 22-year-old was born in Kosovo, but after moving to Sweden he was signed by youth side Kopings. His progress was quickly spotted and in 2006 he was snapped up by Elfsborg and in his first season with the club he won the domestic title. In 2007 he was handed his first call-up by Sweden when he was selected for the Under-21s. In early 2010 he was handed his full debut by Sweden. 2010 has turned out to be a very big year for Bajrami as he also sealed a move to Holland with champions FC Twente. Bajrami's decision to move to Holland shocked many in Sweden, as he was tipped to move to one of Europe's biggest leagues. Now in Holland the pressure is on Bajrami to perform and live up to his price-tag, and there is no doubting he has the talent. Bajrami is primarily a left winger and he has all the basics to shine out wide, pace, vision and outstanding left foot. But Bajrami has other strings to his bow, as he has a real eye for goal both in the area and outside, and many feel his future could be as a forward in and behind a main striker.

The scout says...

Without doubt one of the best prospects Sweden have produced in a long time and whilst some question his move to Twente - it could be an outstanding stepping stone for him. Bajrami will need to produce, but with less pressure on him than in England, Italy or Spain and if he can live up to expectations, he will soon be on his way to one of those countries anyway.
