James Ellison celebrates first MCE BSB double race win at Brands Hatch

James Ellison powered in a winning second-round double at Brands Hatch to close to within six points of MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship leader Shane Byrne.
The JG Speedfit Kawasaki rider led throughout both races, taking the first by 1.386secs, although PBM Kawasaki's four-time champion Byrne closed to within a third of a second on him next time out.
Australian Josh Brookes ran third on the Milwaukee Yamaha in each of the races with Buildbase BMW's Ryuichi Kiyonari twice placing fourth.
