Freiburg have signed Fallou Diagne from Metz after the defender was recommended by compatriot Papiss Demba Cisse.

Freiburg have signed Fallou Diagne from Metz after the defender was recommended by compatriot Papiss Demba Cisse.
Twenty-two-year-old centre-back Diagne has arrived on a contract until June 2016 after a transfer fee of €424,000 (£350,000) was agreed between the two clubs.
And Freiburg general manager Dirk Dufner has revealed star man Cisse played a key role in the transfer having himself moved from Metz and sharing the same agents as Diagne.
Dufner told
Badische Zeitung regarding Diagne: "I am able to confirm he has arrived.
"He is a defender and from his style he looks different to those central defenders we currently have under contract.
"We talked to Papiss before moving for Fallou Diagne."
