Portsmouth midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has been named in Ghana's 23-man squad for the World Cup.

Portsmouth midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has been named in Ghana's 23-man squad for the World Cup finals.
Boateng, who was born in Berlin, played for Germany at every level up to and including Under 21.
However, the 23-year-old switched his allegiance to Ghana due to the lack of opportunities he was being given under Germany coach Joachim Low.
And on Sunday he was included in Milovan Rajevac's final cut for South Africa after the coach dropped seven players from his initial 30-man line-up.
Those who failed to survive the cull were Stephen Adams, Eric Addo, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, Laryea Kingston, Haminu Draman and Bernard Kumordzi.
Boateng's inclusion will see him take on former squad Germany in Johannesburg on 23rd June, where he could come up against half-brother Jerome, who plays for Hamburg.
The Pompey player recently came under fire for his heavy challenge on Germany captain Michael Ballack in the FA Cup final which resulted in the Chelsea star being ruled out of the tournament with an ankle injury.
Ghana suffered an injury blow last week when key midfielder Michael Essien was ruled out due to knee and ankle problems which have hampered his Premier League season at Chelsea.
Ghana and Germany will compete in Group D in South Africa alongside Serbia and Australia.
