South Korea national coach Huh Jung-moo will step down from his role at the end of their World Cup campaign.
The 55-year-old took over the Korean hotseat from current Australia manager Pim Verbeek in 2007.
But 2010 has been less successful for the former PSV Eindhoven player, with local commentators questioning his tactical nous after disastrous losses to Zambia and fierce rivals China in recent months.
Regardless of how well South Korea performs in South Africa, Huh has confirmed he will step down at the end of their campaign.
"I have never thought what will happen after the World Cup," he told
the-afc.com.
"I will leave the national team even if we get a good result there.
"I hope a good coach takes over the job and continues what I have been doing. As you all know, discussions are already underway for a new coach for the World Cup in Brazil in 2014."
