Denmark's Thomas Sorensen has declared himself fit for his country's World Cup opener against Holland on Monday.
The Stoke keeper dislocated his elbow in a Premier League match against Chelsea in April and has not played since.
However, Sorensen, with well over 300 Premier League appearances under his belt, is confident that he is back to full fitness.
"I've been 100 per cent ready for a while now. I had a talk with Morten Olsen [the head coach] and he explained to me why he didn't play me against South Africa," Sorensen told
the Politiken.
Stefan Andersen (Brondby) played in Denmark's final warm-up match, a 1-0 defeat to hosts South Africa.
Jesper Christiansen (FC Copenhagen) has also featured in Sorensen's absence but the Stoke man is expected to return on Monday.
