Leicester performance in Everton win was the 'perfect finale', says Jamie Redknapp

Jamie Redknapp believes Leicester's performance in their 3-1 win over Everton was the perfect way to put a seal on their Premier League title success.
The Foxes racked up a colossal 33 shots as they swept Everton aside at the King Power Stadium on Saturday Night Football - showing no sign of a title party hangover.
A double from Jamie Vardy, who missed a penalty that would have sealed his hat-trick, and an Andy King strike were enough to put the hosts in the driving seat, before Kevin Mirallas notched a late consolation for the Toffees.
Redknapp was full of praise for the way Claudio Ranieri's men went about their business, and felt it was a display worthy of the occasion.
"It was the perfect finale - the football they played, the style they played, the energy they showed," Redknapp said. "The fans must be so proud of their team.
"The big guns lit the place up. I'm still struggling to soak in what has happened here. You look at all the other clubs who have won the Premier League. Man City - that was meant to happen. Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea - the same.
"To see this club win it is incredible. This will give the Premier League clubs 20 years of dreaming about repeating it.
"They have a lovely mix of players. They have the style, they have that little bit of bite, they have the creativity, pace up front. Just a great unit."
Jamie Carragher also highlighted that once again Leicester came up with the answers at the King Power, and was quick to praise the recruitment process within the club.
"Lots of teams have tried to make it difficult, but they haven't managed to work them out," Carragher said. "Opposition managers have thrown plenty of questions their way, but they have had the answers.
"There are plenty behind the scenes who deserve credit, but you can argue that [head of recruitment and assistant manager] Steve Walsh has had as big an impact on this title win as the manager and the players themselves.
"Everyone knows how important recruitment is these days. Some of the signings Leicester have made are some of the greatest signings in Premier League history."
