Stevenage goalkeeper Jesse Joronen scored from just outside his own area in their 2-1 victory over Wycombe Wanderers

Stevenage goalkeeper Jesse Joronen got his side off the mark on Saturday afternoon after his kick found it's way into the net at the other end of the pitch.

Wycombe hit a long ball down the field as they looked to break the deadlock, only to find the feet of Joronen who went to put his side clear of danger.

However, he ended up putting them ahead after his kick evaded every outfield player and caught Wanderers goalkeeper Matt Ingram off guard, who was too late to get back to his line.

Stevenage went on to win the game 2-1 and registered their first win in six games over a Wycombe side who now sit just outside the play-off places.
