Gary Neville and Jamie Redknapp pick Colin Quirk as Budweiser Dream Goal winner

Colin Quirk fought off competition from more than 1,000 entries to be named winner the 2015 Budweiser Dream Goal competition.
Barnton Town’s frontman produced an audacious chip to open the scoring against Daisy Hill and, while the goal could not prevent a 3-2 defeat for Barton, Gary Neville and Jamie Redknapp were in agreement it was deserving of national acclaim.
“I managed to get to the ball first ahead of the central defender, I went past him and got to the edge of the box and, with defenders closing in, I saw the ’keeper come off his line,” Quirk told Sky Sports.
“I decide the best option is to try a scoop over him and luckily enough for me it ended up as a goal.”
Aveley FC striker Junior Appiah’s cheeky ‘Rabona’ goal against Barkingside was pipped into second, while Neil Robinson’s exquisite bicycle kick against Clock Face FC had to settle for third in the competition.
