Didier Deschamps' side booked their place in the semi-finals on Tuesday courtesy of a Mathieu Valbuena brace and a Loic Remy strike.
Marseille took the lead in the seventh minute, with Valbuena's immaculate free-kick leaving Caen keeper Thomas Bosmel with no chance.
Remy, who has again been linked with a move to Tottenham, doubled their lead on 21 minutes.
