Republic of Ireland play-off ties to be shown live on Sky Sports

Republic of Ireland's bid to reach the finals of Euro 2016 in France next summer will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Martin O'Neill's side are away to Bosnia-Herzegovina in the first leg of the European Championship play-offs on Friday, November 13, kick-off 7.45pm.

They will then host a Bosnia-Herzegovina team, which is likely to feature Asmir Begovic and Edin Dzeko, at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Monday, November 16, a match which will also kick-off at 7.45pm.

Sky Sports will be screening all eight play-off matches live so fans of England, Wales and Northern Ireland, who have already qualified for Euro 2016, will be able to run the rule over potential opponents in the finals.

The action begins with the first leg of the tie between Norway and Hungary on Thursday, November 12 (7.45pm) before the Irish take centre stage the following night.

There is a double-header on Saturday, November 14 with Ukraine v Slovenia kicking off at 5pm, followed by Sweden v Denmark at 7.45pm.

Hungary and Norway lock horns again in their second leg on Sunday, November 15 (7.45pm), while the second legs of the remaining two play-offs between Slovenia and Ukraine and Denmark and Sweden are both scheduled for 7.45pm on Tuesday, November 17.
