Jack Wilshere should not be selected for England's Euro 2016 squad, according to a Sky Sports poll.
We asked users of our digital platforms to vote for the midfielders they'd like to see included in Roy Hodgson's 23-man squad, which is to be announced on Monday.
Almost 600,000 votes had been cast by 6pm on Wednesday and Arsenal midfielder Wilshere was not among the names Sky Sports users want to see on the list.
Wilshere has played just 72 minutes of Premier League football due to injury this season, but newspaper reports have suggested Hodgson is planning to take him to France this summer.
But when asked if they were for or against his inclusion, 59 per cent of respondents said they would be against his selection.
With Hodgson likely to take a maximum of eight midfielders to France, Sky Sports' users voted for Tottenham duo Dele Alli and Eric Dier, Liverpool trio Adam Lallana, James Milner and Jordan Henderson, Man City's Raheem Sterling, Everton's Ross Barkley and Leicester's Danny Drinkwater.
Alli was the most popular choice with 97 per cent of respondents supporting his inclusion.
However, Wilshere was only the ninth most popular candidate with voters also suggesting that Michael Carrick, Andros Townsend, Fabian Delph, Jonjo Shelvey and Ryan Mason should be left at home.
The only other midfielder to have played for England since the start of 2014 is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who has been ruled out of the tournament with a knee injury.
