UEFA has opened proceedings against Portugal and Poland after incidents during Thursday's Euro 2016 quarter-final in Marseille.
UEFA's Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body will meet on July 21 to deal with the federations, who have both been charged with a breach of Article 16 (2) after supporters set off fireworks during the game.
Poland's federation (PZPN) has also been charged with two further breaches, one of the same article over crowd disturbances and the other under Article 11 (2) for a late kick-off.
Portugal's second charge arises from a pitch invasion, the second time in the tournament they have faced disciplinary action for such an incident.
Portugal became the first side to reach the semi-finals of Euro 2016 when they beat the Poles 5-3 in a penalty shootout, following a 1-1 draw in 120 minutes at the Stade Velodrome.
