Zutautas steps down
Lithuania boss Raimondas Zutautas has confirmed that he has quit his job.
The Baltic nation endured a poor Euro 2012 qualifying campaign, which culminated in a 4-1 home loss to Czech Republic.
Zutautas, 39, who replaced Portugese Jose Couceiro in February 2010, has now stood down.
"Since I, as manager, failed to fulfil the task, I am ending my work with the team," Zutautas told the local media.
Lithuania managed only one victory in eight games - ironically, a 1-0 away win against the Czechs in September 2010.
Their worst result saw them lose 2-0 away to minnows Liechtenstein last June.
