Manchester City have confirmed the City of Manchester Stadium at Eastlands will be renamed the Etihad Stadium.
A 10-year partnership agreement with Etihad was signed on Friday between City's chief executive officer, Garry Cook, and his counterpart at the Airway, James Hogan.
Etihad have also extended their shirt sponsorship deal with Sheikh Mansour's City and Cook believes the revenue will comes at a crucial stage of 'evolution'.
Cook told City's
official website: "We are delighted to be expanding our relationship with Etihad Airways through this comprehensive partnership agreement.
"Most importantly, in addition to delivering significant revenue at a key stage in the club's evolution, the agreement creates exciting opportunities for our two organisations to cooperate more deeply commercially and on media and community initiatives in the future."
The deal, according to widespread reports, is worth a £150million ($241m) spread over the next 10 years and will give City a major boost ahead of their participation in the UEFA Champions League.
