Sloppy effort will not encourage Euro hopefuls as Hulk scores two

Denmark produced a worryingly error-prone display ahead of Euro 2012 as they lost 3-1 to Brazil in Hamburg on Saturday. Hulk scored twice and had a hand in Niki Zimling's own goal as the Brazilians raced into a three-goal lead in this friendly on neutral ground in Germany. Mistakes from Stoke goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen and Liverpool's Daniel Agger allowed the Porto forward to net twice in a performance that will only intensify speculation about a summer move. With the game won, Brazil took things a little easier and Thomas Kahlenberg came off the bench to cause the South Americans some difficulties. Kimling made amends for his own goal with a driving run to set up Nicklas Bendtner after the break but the damage had been done and Denmark coach Morten Olsen will know he has work to do. The Danes have a daunting draw at this summer's European Championship in Poland and Ukraine where they will face the Netherlands, Portugal and Germany in Group B.
