WATCH: First Soccer AM fan hits the top bin in Chelsea v Arsenal showdown

It was a monumental day in this season's Soccer AM series as a fan fired a ball into the top bin during the car park game for the first time.

This series has seen both sets of fans who appear on the show for the weekend's big fixture go head-to-head in the Soccer AM Volley Challenge.

It sees Tubes bounce a ball off a raised net and the fans must try and volley past the goalkeeper, racking up points as it hits the back of the net or doubling the final tally if it hits the wheely bin in the top corners.

And for the first time this season during the Volley Challenge, one of the fans found the mythical top bin, sending the show into raptures with the team's score doubled once the time was up.

Ray Parlour was leading the Gunners fans as he appeared on the show, while actor and lifelong Chelsea fan Omid Djalili lead the line for the Blues.
