Dijon have named former Paris Saint-Germain boss Antoine Kombouare as their new head coach until the end of the season.

Kombouare replaces Olivier Dall'Oglio, who was sacked on New Year's Eve with Dijon lying third-bottom in Ligue 1.

Kombouare, who himself was sacked by bottom club Guingamp in November, takes charge of Dijon with the club two points adrift of safety in Ligue 1.

The 55-year-old will hold his first press conference on Thursday ahead of his first game against Montpellier on Sunday.

A statement released by Dijon read: "After studying many applications, Olivier Delcourt, President of the DFCO, decided to trust Antoine Kombouare to achieve the goals of the club.
