ARSENAL APPEAL OVER DISMISSAL
ARSENAL are to appeal to the Football Association over the sending off of Frederik Ljungberg in Sundays 2-1 defeat at local rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
The Swede was sent off for allegedly head-butting Spurs winger David Ginola.
The French winger has come out in defence of Ljungberg saying he was not butted.
After his sending off Ljungberg aimed a V sign in the general direction of referee David Elleray, and kicked out at an advertising hording before walking down the tunnel.
In a bruising encounter Elleray also dismissed Arsenal`s Martin Keown.
