TOWN LOOK AT BORO DUO
HUDDERSFIELD TOWN have been linked with a move for Middlesbrough centre half Jason Gavin.
Gavin, 19, has recently broken through to the Boro first team squad and is wanted by Steve Bruce as the Terriers have a spate of defensive injuries.
The Town boss wants back-up for the FA Cup tie against Liverpool on Saturday, but Boro manager Bryan Robson is unlikely to allow the move as he has worries at the back himself with Steve Vickers, Keith O`Neill and Gary Pallister all carrying knocks.
Bruce has also asked Robson about Andy Campbell again but unless he up`s his bid of £1 million the Teesside club will not budge
Town are also rumoured to be interested in Manchester City`s out-of-favour winger Terry Cooke who has been struggling for form recently.
