IPSWICH could be ready to sign Manchester United full back Michael Clegg on loan as a replacement for the imprisoned Gary Croft.
Clegg, 22, has made nearly 30 first team appearances for the Red Devils in the last three years but has struggled to nail down a permanent slot in the United side.
George Burley is looking to consolidate his side`s push for promotion after losing Croft for at least two months due to the former Grimsby man`s penal sentence for driving offences.
