CARBONE TARGETS TREBLE

BENITO CARBONE is fired up ahead of the match with his former club Sheffield Wednesday as the Italian is predicting a hat-trick of goals and personal glory come Saturday afternoon.

The Owls will be determined that the Aston Villa star does not repeat his compatriot Paolo di Canio`s influential display of a few weeks ago as the West Ham striker also had a score or two to settle.

"It is important that I play against Sheffield Wednesday," stated the former Inter forward. "I want to win and I want to score two or three goals."

"I came here because the manager wanted me. He chased me for three months. The manager at Sheffield Wednesday didn`t want me, I don`t know why because I was a hero there and then I was made out to be a bad boy."

"It`s different here. Villa is a big club, Sheffield Wednesday is a little team, we have a strong squad of players at the club," he told the official website. "I play for Villa now, I want to win for Villa and I want to win on Saturday."
